WHO AM I?

My Host Family

Hi everyone,
in my host family there are 3 people and two very cute dogs.😍
My host father is Timothy, but everyone calls him Tim. He's an insurance and he enjoys photography cinematography, golf, walking the dogs, watching sports and traveling.
In fact, he made an amazing video with photos of Bloomington, of their house, of the high school and of the most famous cities in Illinois which are St. Louis and, of course, Chicago. In addition, he added two songs in the background thta were linked with the exchange year: I Lived (by OneRepublic) and Stand By You (by Rachel Platten).
At the end of the video he wrote 'Exchange isn't a year in a life, but a life in a year' and I think it's the perfect sentence to summarize the exchange year. I really loved that video!😊
My host mum is Tiffany. She's an education manager for children ages 3-5 years. She loves to cook, garden and travel. I look forward to cook many American dishes with her and to try making some Italian dishes. I believe we will have a lot of fun together and we'll never be hungry!
My host sister's name is Caitlyn and she is 13 years old. She is very energetic and she loves sports. In fact, she does cross country and she plays basketball as well as soccer. I think that after this year I will become a very athletic girl thanks to her. We will play, talk, laugh together, but also fight like real sisters do.

Last but not least, the dogs are Sasha and Callie. they literally only eat, play and sleep. They really like going for a walk or for a car ride. I have never had a pet at my house so at the begnning it will be srange for me, but I'm sure we will get along well.

This is Sasha.

This is Callie.

In the letter that they have sent me they talk about how much the family is important for them.
In fact, they enjoy traveling, playing board games together, cooking, attending community sporting events, hiking and partecipating in different local activities. I love how many things they do, because it's a wonderful opportunity for me to try as many things as possible and never feel bored!😃
They are active members of their Catholic Church and also Illinois State University basketball fans, so I am going to many basketball games (one thing on my bucket list is done!).

I think I'm very lucky to have found a family that has treated me like a family member since the beginning of this adventure. I can't really wait to meet them! I look forward to doing a lot of things with them!
I'm really thankful to my second family!💓
